A Marsh Harrier just to the south of the pool at Dodding this morning and 2 Pinkfeet on the deck with Greylags.Also,Tree Creeper,Raven,Stonechat,Goldeneye,13 Shovelers,Wigeon,Pochard,15 Little Grebes and 120 Pinkfeet over in 1 Skein.

A couple of different birds at Doddington this morning,Peregrine chasing Woodpigeons,Kestrel straight through,over 200 Pinkfeet in 7 skeins and a surprise Oystercatcher which came in and landed on the shoreline opposite the units.

Female Stonechat still around the sailing club at Doddington this morning and the first returning Goldeney with 2 Female and a single Male.Around the pool,Raven,Goldcrest,Sparrowhawk,too many winter Thrushes to count(that’s our excuse) and the best bird,while we were chatting with John he spotted a Merlin over which did the decent thing and landed close by.

Egyptian Goose at Doddington this morning and a Snipe on the island.Also good to see a mixed flock of around 30 Linnet,Greenfinch and Goldfinch.
