The key features of the group are:
- Sightings within the SECOS Recording Area.
- Birds only, no other wildlife.
- All birders welcome, you don't have to be a SECOS member, although you can join SECOS here.
- Text messages and photos are welcome.
- SECOS will enter all sightings into BTO Birdtrack anonymously (without recording the observer's name).
