    Black-n Grebe still at Doddington this morning and drop ins were 11 Shoveler and 6 Wigeon.A Kingfisher flew from the back of the island and at least 7 Ravens were showing.

    Congleton
    River Dane; Kingfisher, plunge diving then perched on a branch below the weir below the park entrance; also immature grey wagtail there; dipper feeding in the river below the Rood Hill road bridge.

    Very nice to see a Black necked grebe at Doddington Pool this morning. Made up for getting wet!

    One,probably two Marsh Harriers at Doddington this morning.The first over the drive to the Hall,the second to the south soaring with 10 Ravens and a Buzzard.Also Sprrowhawk.

    At Doddington this morning, greenshank still on the puddle and seen later on the back of the island, 74 mute swans and 10 swallows low over the water drinking. Erection of the otter fence round Lemon Pool is due to start on the 16th.

    2nd sighting of Marsh Harrier this week at Doddington this morning,it flew over the hall but seen off by 2 Ravens.Greenshank still feeding viewed from the car,7 Wigeon on the main lake,Kingfisher on the Lemon pool.
